Al-Arafah Islami Bank declares 16pc dividend
AL-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has declared a 16 percent dividend in the form of bonus share for the year that ended in December 2003.The declaration was made at the bank's 9th annual general meeting held in Dhaka on Wednesday, says a press release. The meeting presided over by the bank's Chairman Abdul Malek Mollah was told that the bank earned Tk 306.34 million in net profit before tax in 2003. Total deposit of the bank was Tk 8,643.27 million and total investment was Tk 7,571.54 million in 2003.
