Alamgir is currently busy with his new film Ekti Cinemar Golpo. The film will star Rituparna, Arefin Shuvo and Saberi Alam. On the very first day of shooting Runa Laila and Akhi Alamgir came to wish good luck to the cast and crew of the film. The shooting of the first half of the film will continue till 30th September without any breaks. When asked about the film, Rituparna said, "I am working in a Bangladeshi film after a very long time. There was a time when I worked a lot in this country. Therefore, I am quite close to a lot of people in the industry of Bangladesh." Alamgir is very excited to be making another film. Previously he has made 5 films. He said, "The story of the film is about cinema in Bangladesh and the entire shooting of the film will take place in Bangladesh." The film will be produced under the banner of Icon Entertainment.
