One of the most famous artists of the country, Qayyum Chowdhury was instrumental in establishing the art scene of Bangladesh as we know it today. Along with master artists Zainul Abedin, Quamrul Hassan and Safiuddin Ahmed, Qayyum Chowhury is also regarded as a first generation artist of the country.
