Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network (GWIIN) has presented Luna Shamsuddoha, Chairman, Dohatec New Media and President Bangladesh Women in Technology with the Honorary Special Recognition Award at the 4th Bi-Annual International European Women Inventors & Innovators Network Exhibition, Conference & Awards on 28 November 2013 in Stockholm, Sweden.
GWIIN stated that it was honouring Luna Shamsuddoha for her achievement as a leading woman entrepreneur in technology and for the innovative programmes she has been continuing to lead to support and empower women. They invited her to Sweden to be presented with the GWIIN Honorary Special Recognition Award during the EUWIIN Conference. Approximately 200 innovative and influential business owners and professionals attended t the conference and Awards ceremony where the  theme this year is “Accelerating Growth in Product & Service Innovation in Europe and beyond“. The focus of the event was to promote the Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in relation to fast -tracking of skills development, knowledge transfer, intellectual property rights, access to finance, product development, manufacturing, equity and commercialization, international trade and all aspects covering the successful exploitation of viable innovative ideas.
Luna Shamsuddoha also spoke on “Focus on International Market & Partnership Opportunities” during the Session on “Europe & Emerging Markets”. She also served on a Specialist Panel in which European Women Innovator and Inventors were presenting their products.
