The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has sent a letter to Jatiya Party's presidium member Hazi Saifuddin Ahmed Milon asking him to stop illegally putting up posters.

The DNCC's Chief Revenue Officer ANM Tariqul Islam sent the letter to Saifuddin Ahmed Milon today.

Saifuddin told The Daily Star he has not received the letter but he has been removing posters for the past four to five days. He also admitted that it was wrong to put up posters in the metro rail construction site.

Photos of Saifuddin's posters put up in metro rail construction site have been circulating on social media drawing much criticism.

The DNCC letter states that for a long time, posters have been illegally put up in many areas under DNCC. As a result, the beauty of the city is being ruined and as such extra manpower, money, and time is being wasted on cleaning it up.

The letter requests that posters placed at various locations be removed at one's own cost immediately, otherwise, the city corporation will remove the posters and Saifuddin will have to bear the cost.
