Prof Dr Abdul Jalil Miah of chemistry department of Rajshahi University was appointed vice chancellor of Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.
President Zillur Rahman who is the chancellor of the university appointed Prof Jalil on Thursday.
Prof Jalil Miah is the second vice chancellor of Begum Rokeya University. He will join at the university tomorrow.
