Shammilito Shangshkritik Jote's Pabna district unit organised an Eid reunion and reception programme at Pabna Bonomali auditorium premises recently. The programme included discussion and cultural programme. Different cultural organisations took part and performed at the programme. Noted TV artiste Masum Aziz, originally from Pabna, was accorded a reception at the programme.
President of Shammilito Shangshkritik Jote, Pabna, Abul Kashem chaired the programme. Among others, senior journalist Anwarul Haque; Principal of Pabna Govt. Bulbul College, Shibojit Nag; Professor Abdul Mannan Talukder; Professor Moshiur Rahman; Secretary of Pabna Press Club, Utpol Mirza; actor Masum Aziz and Secretary of Shammilito Shangshkritik Jote, Salfi Al Fattah spoke at the programme.
Masum Aziz was honoured with flowers and crests. Aziz was honoured for his laudable work as a character actor.
Over 400 cultural activists representing different organisations of the district took part in the reunion. Later the artistes performed songs, dance, and recitation. Among them were Baul Tofazzal Hossain, Shajahan Ali, Mukta, Sanam, Brishthi, Shishir, Shimu and Suman.
