Asaduzzaman Noor and Iresh Zaker in Ujan Pother Jatri

Actors representing two generations, Asaduzzaman Noor and Iresh Zaker come together in an Eid-special TV play Ujan Pother Jatri. The cast also includes Afroza Banu, Munmun, Tushti and Ankhi.
In the play with a light note, a man obsessed with books comes to his sister's home in Dhaka to complete necessary works for setting up his village library. He has devoted his life to popularising reading habits. But his sister is worried as she feels that indifference of her son and daughter may hurt her brother. She figures out an easy solution and asks them to pretend to read books during his stay. As her brother comes over, unusual incidents take place.
Written by Anisul Haque and directed by Ashrafi Mithu, the play will be aired on Channel i. Ujan Pother Jatri is produced by Ddhoni Chitra Ltd.
