Biman Bangladesh Airlines has got the renewal of the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration, which is mandatory for achieving or maintaining membership of International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) programme is an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. It is the benchmark for global safety management in airlines.
The national flag carrier gained the IOSA registration on March 12 passing an audit on 775 subjects by an IATA audit team, a Biman press release said yesterday.
