Today is the fifth death anniversary of Advocate ABM Fazle Rashid Chowdhury Hiru, a politician, businessman and social worker, says a press release.
Fazle Rashid Chowdhury, eldest son of former leader of the opposition in the East Pakistan Assembly AKM Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury and husband of Prof Masuda M Rashid Chowdhury dedicated his life for the people through philanthropic contributions.
On the occasion, Qurankhwani and milad mahfil will be held at his residences in Dhaka, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and ancestral village Gohira, Raozan. Foods will also be distributed among the destitute.
All have been requested to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
