Rashid's daughter held with Yaba

A daughter of Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan, an executed killer of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was arrested with 12 pieces of banned Yaba tablets from the capital's Dhanmondi early yesterday.
Shehnaz Rashid Khan, 28, along with three others was arrested from her Dhanmondi residence around 3:45am.
The other arrestees are: Tayeb Zaman, 37, elder brother of Shehnaz's husband Fuad Zaman, Mahbub Hossain, 28, and Touhidul Islam, 28.
Talking to The Daily Star at Dhanmondi police custody, Shehnaz denied any knowledge of the banned drug, saying she neither takes the pill nor is involved in its trading.
However, she admitted to have seen her husband taking the pills.
Fuad Zaman, 35, used to teach at English medium school but has left his job now, she claimed.
A mother of two -- four-year-old and a two-year-old -- is also expecting another soon, she said.
Mohammad Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Dhanmondi Police Station, said the four were arrested with the tablets from the residence of Shehnaz Rashid.
“They use their residence to run this illicit business,” the OC said and added, “We are trying to track down Fuad to unearth the network of his business.”
Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan and four others were executed on January 27, 2010 for killing Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of his family members on August 15, 1975.
