BNCC training starts today

The Central Training Exercise (CTE) 2011 of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) starts in Baipal Training area of Savar today.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will inaugurate the event.
Some 600 cadets of the army, navy and air wing will participate in the 11-day long training programme, says a press release.
The training will include basic military training, theoretical and practical lessons, social awareness programmes, different competitions, games, sports and cultural events.
CTE 2011 will conclude with a colourful closing ceremony with parade, display and cultural programmes on March 16.
Former BNCC cadets interested to participate in the ceremony are requested to contact BNCC headquarters following telephone numbers 7912854, 8953423 and 8954654.
