This Eid, seven plays by Chayanika Chowdhury are being aired on different TV channels.
“Jara Brishtite Bhijechhilo” was aired on Desh TV on Eid day. The play, written by Imdadul Haque Milon, featured Anisur Rahman Milon and Prova. Tele-film “Opekkha”, directed by Chayanika, was aired on Banglavision on the second day of Eid. The film featured Aupee Karim, Apurba, Prova and Iresh Zaker.
Today Ekushey TV will air her play “Babli Tomar Shongey” featuring Prova and Hillol. BTV will air two Chayanika plays. “Dekha Holo Bhalobasha Bedona-e” will be aired today at 5:30 pm and features Apurba, Bindu and Prova. Based on a Humayun Ahmed novel, the play “Rupa” will be aired this Friday at 10:30 pm. The play features Prova, Mahfuz, Badhon and Syed Hasan Imam.
About her plays this Eid, the director says, “The seven plays have seven very different plots. I hope the audiences will enjoy them.”
