1. You have become a Facebook sensation in Bangladesh in a very short time! But, we know very little about your background. Where did you come from? Where did you grow up? What was your childhood like?
I passed my childhood mainly in Barisal. However, due to job requirements of my parents, we needed to move to different districts of Bangladesh. So, actually there were different locations where I roamed around during my entire childhood and it was really mesmerizing experience to see those beautiful places.  All these beautiful memories peep into my mind when I become tired of this robotic city life.
2.You are a Facebook star, and you have marketed yourself incredibly well and used social media to popularize yourself. Where did this idea of making use of Facebook come from?
I am a regular Facebook user from the very beginning of its journey.  Frankly speaking, it was never in my mind to use Facebook to popularize myself and there were no planned activities either. I was popular as a model from the start of my modeling journey due to my quality and creativity. From the very beginning, I always tried to get connected with my fans all the time and from the pressing requests from my beloved fans; in the beginning of this year; I opened my Facebook fan page that is solely dedicated for them.
3.What are the advantages of using social media to generate a fan following? What is the general feedback and tone you see on your Facebook page?
I have a single profile and a fan page on Facebook. There are several advantages of using Facebook to generate a fan following. You can easily get connected with large numbers of fans from a single platform. There are several controlling tools of Facebook that allows me to run my page per my requirements and make it a secure place. Yes, I receive lots of feedback. Most of the cases, fans laud my work. Sometimes, criticisms are also there.  However, I count each of the criticism and try to take them positively.
 

4.Did you face any problem in life outside Facebook because of this sudden rise in popularity?
Honestly speaking, when you become a known figure; it is always a bit troublesome to move around in public places. When fans and followers find me among the crowd, they try to have a direct conversation with me which is not possible all the time due to different circumstances. It really makes me sad sometimes not being able to respond to my fans.  
 

5.Most actors' objective is to be cast in lead roles in movies, whereas, you have expressed the interest to establish yourself as an 'Item girl' in Bangladesh. What is the difference in your thinking and the rest?
I never wanted to establish myself as an 'item girl' and in different published interviews; I already stated that my main career objective is to establish myself as a good actress in cinema. I already refused several offers of 'item songs' because they did not meet my standards. At the same time, I already have received offers for the main character of some movies which are in my consideration.
6.Your boldness and liberal portrayal of yourself is quite refreshing in Bangladesh! What is the source of this liberal thinking? Do most people in your life, such as your family, support this quality of yours, or do they see it negatively?
I always love to think independently. This is the source of my liberal thinking. My family encourages my good work and without their support I wouldn't be able to reach where I am today.
7.What movies are you involved with right now and in which capacity?
There are several offers I received, those are in my consideration. You all will be notified immediately, if I formally decide to join any movie.
8.You are also a dentist by profession, and we understand you are multi-tasking between your two worlds of glamour and medicine. Do you wish to continue both in the future?
I am a dentist by profession and I really enjoy my job. In addition, being an actress is a long cherished desire from my childhood.  Hence, I would like to maintain and continue both the professions.
9.Is there anything about yourself that you would like our readers to know? Feel free to add.
I never lose hope. I do only those jobs that I love doing. Today, I am successful due to my passion and dedication towards my work. I am also an animal lover. I have many pet cats and dogs.
