Bonna Mirza's talent is unquestionable. And so is her aversion to answering questions. The actress, however, is as passionate about her social awareness programmes as she is about her acting. Over the years she went around the country to generate awareness about HIV/AIDS. Mirza started her acting career in 1991 with the theatre troupe Desh Natok, and moved to television after five years, starring in numerous drama serials and shows including 'Bhober Haat', 'Ronger Manush' and 'Doll's House.' She also starred in Tanvir Mokammel's directorial venture 'Rabeya' in 2009. The extremely talented actor answered the Star Magazine's questions about her work and life in general.

The qualities you need for acting
For theatre you need practice, for television plays you need nothing and for film you need opportunity.
One character you played which has become very close to your heart
It's hard to specify any one character.
The time when you like to work the most
I usually work from 10 in the morning till 10 at night. I don't really have a specific timeframe in which I like to work. It depends on what kind of work I'm doing.  
One director you would like to work with
I don't have any one in my mind.
If you were not an actor
I would be nothing if I weren't an actor.
