Jessore arson victim dies at DMCH

A bus helper, who suffered burn injuries as alleged blockaders set fire to his vehicle in Jessore on January 6, died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital this morning.
Murad Mollah, 20, hailed from Magura Sadar upazila, succumbed to his injures at the burn unit around 8:30am, DMCH sources said.
He was rushed to the hospital with 32 percent burn injuries, the sources said.
Mollah was sleeping in his bus when it was set on fire during the early hours of January 6.
BNP enforced the nationwide nonstop blockade since January 5 protesting the confinement of its chairperson Khaleda Zia to her Gulshan office in Dhaka January 3.
