As part of its regular musical programmes, Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre is organising a musical evening by Habib Wahid at IGCC, Dhanmondi, Dhaka at 5:30pm today (January 9).

Habib, a household name in the country's music scene, was initiated to music at an early stage by his father Ferdous Wahid. Subsequently, Habib travelled to the UK to pursue Music and Audio Engineering courses at the School of Audio Engineering in London. A National Film Award winner for Best Music Composer in 2011, Habib has released several music albums – “Maya”, “Moina Go”, “Shono!”, “Panjabiwala”, “Bolchi Tomake” and “Oboseshe” —all of which gained immense popularity.
