Dristrict AL leader Faruk was found shot dead near his residence in College Para area on January 18, 2013.
Trial of the case began on February 11 this year with the deposition of Nahar, the plaintiff of the case.
Nahar told the court that her husband used to tell her that Rana and his brothers might kill him. They killed Faruk as he was a candidate for the secretary post of the district unit AL, she told the court.
During the cross-examination yesterday, Rana's lawyer Abdul Baki Miah asked Nahar if she had lodged a general diary (GD) about the threats to kill her husband or mentioned those incidents in the first report (ejahar) of the case.
Nahar said she had not done so as she was afraid of Rana and his brothers.
