Professor Mijanur Rahman has been reappointed as the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Jagannath University (JnU), said a JuU press release.

President Abdul Hamid, also the Chancellor of the university, today appointed him for the successive four-year term, the press release added.

On March 20, 2013, Mijanur Rahman, professor of the Department of Marketing of Dhaka University (DU), was appointed as the 4th vice-chancellor of JnU.

Earlier, he served as the treasurer of DU from 2009 to 2012. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1978 and Master of Commerce in 1979 from marketing dept of DU.
