A local Jubo League leader was stabbed to death in the town on Sunday.

Imran Ali, 26, son of Khorshed Ali of Kanaikhali area, was youth and sports secretary of district Jubo League's ward No 4 of Natore municipality.

Abul Hasanat, additional superintendent of police, said Imran and his friends locked in an altercation over a motorbike. At one stage, his friends stabbed Imran in the area around 8:30pm.

He was rushed to Natore Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him dead, said the ASP.
