The coast guard distributed life jackets among 50 fishermen and provided health services along with medicines to 300 fishermen families in Matlab Uttar upazila under the district yesterday.

Coast Guard Family Welfare Sangha conducted the benevolent activities at Satnol Union Parishad premises in Matlab Uttar upazila yesterday. 

Director General of Coast Guard Rear Admiral Aurangajeb Chowdhury was the chief guest.

Zonal commander of coast guard's Dhaka Zone Rezaul Hasan, Assistant Director (Detectives) Abdullah Al Maharuf and Matlab Uttar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sharmin Akhter attended as special guests.
