Twenty-five students of two former enclaves Bhitorkuti and Bowalmari under Kulaghat union in Sadar upazila have received bicycles for easy communication to and from their school and colleges.

Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila Parishad distributed the bicycles free of cost among the students at a programme in the upazila parishad premises yesterday.

The beneficiaries, 13 girls and 12 boys of different schools and colleges, who had to attend their institutions about 3 to 10 kilometres away from their homes, belong to poor families of the two enclaves.
