A Natore court yesterday placed four members of outlawed Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) on five days' remand.

They are Anisur Rahman, 40, son of Younus Ali Mian of Arkandi village in Singra upazila, Shafiqul Islam, 42, son of Shukur Ali of Chapapukur village in Bagatipara upazila, Fazlur Rahman, 38, son of Tipu Mandol of the same village, and Jakir Hossain, son of Fazlur Rahman of Kholabaria village in Naldanga upazila.

Police produced them before the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Rabiul Islam in Natore with a prayer for 10 days' remand to interrogate them.

After a hearing, the court granted five days' remand.

Law enforcers arrested the four JMB men from a house at Dighapatia of Natore Sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.
