The Bangladesh Railway authorities (West Zone) on Tuesday demolished 15 unauthorised makeshift structures on railway land in Mogholhat rail gate area.

Lalmonirhat divisional estate office freed the area at least six times in the last four years, but the grabbers keep coming back in a few days.

If anyone erects any makeshift structures on railway land again they will take legal action against them, said Rezwanul Haque, Lalmonirhat divisional estate officer.

Azizul Islam, a fruit seller of the area, said they will build the shops within couple of days as they do not have any alternative.
