Two persons were killed by lighting in Swandip upazila of Chittagong yesterday.

The deceased are Parikshit Jaladas, 26, son of Anir Jaladas, and Bikash Jaladas, 18, son of Lalmohon Jaladas, said Sub-Inspector Helal Uddin of Swandip Police Station.

The youths were struck by a thunderbolt while they were on the way to catch fish by a boat, said the SI.
