Suraiya Zafar, who taught business communication at several institutions at home and abroad, breathed her last on March 14 at the age of 65.

She left behind her husband, two daughters, and a son, says a press release.

Suraiya, a resident of Banani, was a loving and caring mother to her children and a great support to her husband. Her bright and bold persona made an impact on anyone she met. As a practicing Muslim, she encouraged charity.

Suraiya, who was a dialysis patient, also participated in organising programmes for fellow kidney patients to encourage hope and positivity.
