At least seven persons were killed and two others injured in road accidents in two districts yesterday.

Motorcyclist Nahid, 32, and Yunus, 33, were killed when their bike got trapped between two trucks on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Savar of Dhaka, reports our local correspondent.

In another incident, an unidentified woman, 35, and her seven-month-old baby were killed when a truck ran them over on the highway, police said.

Yet another incident, security guard Mosharaf Hossen, was killed as a truck ran him over on Nobinagar-Chandra highway, said police, quoting locals. 

Meanwhile, two bikers Abdul Mannan Sarder, 50, and Nur Hossain, 32, were killed and two others injured following a head-on collision between two motorbikes on Kaliganj-Shymganj road in Pirojpur Katakhali area of Kaliganj upazila in Satkhira, UNB reports.
