Three people were killed and seven others injured when a truck hit a three-wheeler on Navaron–Satkhira highway in Sharsha upazila of Jessore yesterday afternoon.

The dead were Najrul Islam, 55, Md Alom, 34, both residents of Navaron Bazar area, and Roksona Bagum, 24, resident of Sotoachra village in Benapole.                                   

The injured were admitted to local hospitals.   A case was filed.
