At least 3 persons were killed in separate road accidents across the country yesterday.

In Faridpur, Masud Munshi, 21 and and Mehdi Hassan Mithu, 18, were injured after their motorbike skidded off the road and hit a tree in Charbhadrasan upazila, police said quoting locals.

The duo succumbed to their injuries at Faridpur Medical College and Hospital, police said, adding, the incident left another injured.

Meanwhile in Narayanganj, day labourer Nurul Amin (52) was killed when a bus ran him over on Dhaka-Sylhet highway, police said.

The body was sent to a local hospital for autopsy.
