Qaiser Iqbal Ghani, former director of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, died of old age complications at his Baridhara residence in Dhaka yesterday, aged 76.

He left behind his wife, a son and daughter. Founder member of Baridhara Cosmopolitan Club, Qaiser was also a member of Dhaka Club and Golf Club, says a release.

He will be buried in Mohammadpur graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza at Baridhara Park Mosque after the Zohr prayers today.
