A woman injured in a water tank blast in the capital's Pallabi area last month died on Saturday, raising the death toll to four.

With more than 41 percent burns, Yeasmin Begum, 30, was undergoing treatment at City Hospital in Dhaka, said Dadan Fakir, officer-in-charge of Pallabi Police Station.

On March 27, the blast took place in the water tank on the ground floor of a six-storey building in Pallabi-12, which burned six people.

The following day, Yeasmin's daughter Ruhi, a three-year-old girl, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
