Salahuddin Ahmad, former trade counsellor of Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia, passed away early Tuesday at his residence in the capital's Uttara.

He was 80, said a press release.

He was buried at Uttara Graveyard. He left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter.

His qulkhwani will be held after the Asr prayers tomorrow at his family residence.
