Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy has been given the status of a deputy minister.

The cabinet division issued a notification yesterday in this regard, said a PID handout.

As per the notification, Ivy will enjoy the status, salary, allowances and other facilities equivalent to that of a deputy minister while in office.
