A Rangpur court yesterday sentenced a man to life term imprisonment for killing his wife in Pirganj upazila of Rangpur in 2013.

The convict -- Aminul Islam of Sorolia village under the upazila -- was also fined Tk 20,000.

According to the prosecution, on March 11, 2013, Aminul killed his wife over a family feud, and hung her body from the ceiling to show the incident as suicide.
