JCI Dhaka East organised its first project of the year on Friday, said a press release.

The day-long campaign creating awareness for better health and hygiene among children and parents included distributing anti-worm tablets, oral saline and biscuits among 300 children of Gawair Nabin Government Primary School of Dakkhinkhan, Dhaka.

The purpose of the project was to create awaress in children to keep them safe from diarrhea and related health issues. A discussion was also arranged for parents to discuss such issues, conducted by doctors of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. This project was co-initiated and partnered by Teach for Bangladesh and the medical support was provided by Globe Pharmaceuticals.
