A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling in her house following a family feud in Chittagong yesterday.

The deceased, Fatema Begum, 25, wife of Zakir Hossain, was a resident of Selim Bhaban under Bayezid Bostami Police Station, police said. 

Fatema and her husband had a quarrel in their house in the morning and later she might have committed suicide, police said.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Chittagong Medical College morgue for an autopsy.
