The public administration ministry has launched a website to help government officials and employees spell Bangla words correctly as part of a campaign for using Bangla as an official language, said an official release yesterday.

"The government officials or employees who are exposed to problems with the spelling of Bangali words could seek the answer in a short time using the Facebook (www.mopa.gov.bd)," it reads. The decision was taken at a meeting of the ministry with public administration minister Syed Ashraful Islam in the chair.

The Facebook page titled "Bangla Bhasha Bastobayan Kosh" (BABAKO) is open for public officials and employees. The page was opened on March 15.
