Today is the ninth death anniversary of Hemayt Uddin, a freedom fighter and a politician.

He was the general secretary and senior vice president of Bauphal Thana Awami League from 1982 to 1990, said a press release.

On the occasion, a milad mahfil and doa has been arranged at Bilbilas Jame Mosque of Bauphal in Patuakhali.

All relatives and well wishers are requested to join the programme and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
