A dialogue on protecting children from violence was held in Mymensingh Press Club yesterday.

World Vision Bangladesh’s Mymensingh Area Programme office and Mymensingh Press Club jointly organised the dialogue.

Children are falling victims to different types of violence nowadays, said speakers, adding that the mass media can play a vital role to protect the children from violence.

Nomrota Hawee, acting manager of Mymensingh Area Programme Cluster of World Vision, its Regional Sponsorship and Child Protection Coordinator Ujjol Biswas and the Press Club Secretary, Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmad, also spoke.
