In a bid to win back the majority of Bangladeshi television audiences from the serials of Indian TV channels, Deepto TV will go on air with the theme "Aloy Vuban Vora" from November 18, the organisers said yesterday.

The 24 hour channel will broadcast quality entertainment programmes and unbiased news, they added at the "Meet the Press" at The Daily Star Centre in the capital. 

Kazi Zahin Hasan, director, Kazi Media Limited and the parent company of Deepto TV, Kazi Urfi Ahmad, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the channel and Nazmul Asraf, head of news, among others, spoke at the event.
