Today is the 17th death anniversary of Hasna Hena Qadir, one of the founders of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee.

On this occasion, a milad mahfil will be held and food will be distributed among the poor in the capital.

She was the wife of Lt Col M Abdul Qadir, who was martyred during the Liberation War, and mother of journalist Nadeem Qadir, who is now the minister (press) in the Bangladesh High Commission, London, said a press release.
