The construction work of the 1.2km Kadamtali flyover will be completed by this month and be opened for public next month, officials of the Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) said.

The flyover -- connecting Station Road to Baitush Sharaf area of Dhaka Trank Road -- will reduce traffic congestion in south and middle parts of the city, CDA officials hoped.

The construction work of the Tk 59 crore-project has been started in July 2010, the officials added.
