A boy was killed as a battery-run three-wheeler hit him while he was crossing a road at Katla Bazar in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur yesterday.

The deceased is Sohag, 7, son of Zahangir Hossain from Madhabpara village in the upazila, said police.

He succumbed to his injuries on the way to Birampur Upazila Health Complex.
