Customs officials recovered 45 gold bars, worth around Tk 2.5 crore, at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong yesterday.

The bars, weighing around 5.3kg, were found inside a lavatory, said Uttam Biswas, deputy commissioner of Chittagong Customs House. No one was arrested in this connection yet, he added.
