Law enforcers today detained 44 Nepali nationals from Mirpur area in Dhaka as they did not have any legal documents for staying in Bangladesh.

Police detained them from different houses in Mirpur DOHS area, Dadon Fakir, officer-in-charge of Pallabi Police Station, told The Daily Star.  

“We are yet to know whether the detainees were involved with any criminal activity,” OC Dadon said.
