A three-day event to discuss contemporary challenges to International Humanitarian Law (IHL) began in the capital yesterday.

Titled, “Humanity First”, it is being organised by International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Bangladesh chapter of the Asian Society of International Law.

Academics and professionals from India, Nepal, Iran, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the host country Bangladesh are participating in it, said a press release.
