A total of 120 underprivileged females were given certificates in the capital's Mirpur on Tuesday from Citi Foundation, and Underprivileged Children's Educational Programs (Ucep) after completing technical courses.

The persons, aged between 17 and 25, participated in the six-month courses under Citi Ucep Technical Education Project, funded by Citi Foundation, at Ucep Gazipur Technical School.

Prof M Hafizul Islam, member of Ucep Association, and Citi Country Officer Rashed Maqsood, were, among others, at the certificate giving ceremony.
