Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, state minister for land, has recently been appointed an adviser of UCB Foundation. A lawmaker from Chittagong-13, Chowdhury was the chairman of United Commercial Bank's (UCB) executive committee prior to joining the ministry. He was the chairman and managing director of Aramit Group and president of Chittagong Chamber. The foundation is UCB's social corporate responsibility organisation.
