Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited has lowered the annual fees for allocation and registration of dot bd (.bd) and dot bangla (.bangla) domains and fixed it to Tk 800, up from the varying rates of Tk 5,000, Tk 15,000 and Tk 25,000.

The domains will be allocated and registered on 'first-come first-serve' basis, BTCL said in a press release issued on Tuesday.
