BNP Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed today said the ongoing countrywide blockade will continue until the removal of the Awami League-led government.
“The removal of the government is now only a matter of time… The government would be forced to step down,” Rizvi said while talking to reporters at a Gulshan house in Dhaka this morning.
Condemning the arrest of BNP Vice-chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, Rizvi demanded his immediate release. Detectives picked up Chowdhury from his Old DOHS residence in Banani last night.
